About the Story:

On a Monday morning Swaminathan was unwilling to go to school. He told his mother about headache. His mother told him to stay at home. But his father asked him to go to school. Swami replied that his teacher Samuel who was an angry man would scold him for being late. Swami’s father sent a letter to the headmaster complaining about Samuel.

On his way to school Swami felt sorry for Samuel who was really a nice person. He decided to give the letter to the headmaster after the school was over.

In the school Samuel behaved quite gently with Swami and when after the school Swami went to deliver the letter, he found the headmaster’s room locked as he had been on leave. Swami came back home in joy but his father took away the letter from him and tore it into pieces advising Swami not to complain about Samuel in future.
