Rittik: Hello, Madhumita, why are you looking so jolly?

Madhumita: Yes, there is cause behind it. I am just coming back from a circus show. I went with my father. This is for the first time in my life.

Rittik: Have you seen the play of tigers and lions?

Madhumita: Yes, that is dangerous, but also pathetic.

Rittik: Why?

Madhumita: It seemed to me something inhuman and torturous for them. How poor the condition of the animals is!

Rittik: That’s right. If you consider that view, then such kind of show with wild animals in the circus should be banned. Again the number of animals in the jungle is also rapidly decreasing.

Madhumita: They are probably ill-fed.

Rittik : It’s a criminal offence. Laws should be imposed against the circus party.

Madhumita: Here, I agree with you. OK, bye. I am actually in a hurry.

An Exciting Excursion

Like every year, this year also our school arranged an educational excursion. This time we went to Murshidabad. All of us enjoyed the tour very much. While coming back, however, we passed some anxious moments. It was just midnight and our bus was running at a great speed. All of a sudden, it stopped. It was a case of tyre puncture. But our driver and conductors were efficient enough. They told us to keep quiet for an hour or two. The problem was of light as they had no powerful torches or other lighting arrangements with them. But somehow they managed it. Our waiting in the pitch black night was something awful. But by the grace of God we ultimately came back safely.
